The Mermaid King is a minor character from the game Onmyoji. He is the main antagonist of the Sea of Eternity event.
Biography[]
Over these hundreds of years, I've been disguising myself as the woman I used to love the most, with this beautiful body. I don't have a name of my own. I was destined to live in dark corners until she chose me. In those fake words of life, fake hugs and fake smiles, I found happiness. When the truth was revealed, I chose to stand against her when facing the dilemma of survival and her fake love.
I killed her. But then, three versions of me were born: the me who still loves her, the me who hates her, and the weaker me who dreams to live on. All versions of me belong to me. The love, the hate, and the dream make up a complete me.
