Sofia is a human princess from the show Sofia the First. Sofia is voiced by Ariel Winter.
Biography[]
Sofia is temporarily transformed into a mermaid by the Amulet of Avalor after she helps Oona escape from a net. She appears as a mermaid in the episodes "The Floating Palace", "Cool Hand Fluke", “ Elena And The Secret Of Avalor” "Return to Merroway Cove", and the series finale, "Forever Royal". As a mermaid, Sofia can breathe underwater and swim gracefully. Her transformation occurs when her feet come into contact with water, causing the magic of the Amulet of Avalor to turn her legs and feet into a purple mermaid tail. She also wears a purple top adorned with seashells, and her tiara features sea stars and a seahorse.
Physical Appearance[]
In her original mermaid form, Sofia had a purple tail, a purple top with pink seashells, a seaweed bracelet, and a yellow tiara featuring seahorses and starfish. Her updated mermaid design includes a purple tail, a pink seashell-patterned top, a dark purple coral belt, and a lighter purple fin at the end of her tail. She also has seaweed bracelets on both upper arms, and a yellow tiara with a purple seashell.
