Yumei is a half-mermaid NPC in Valkyrie Profile, and playable character in Valkyrie Anatomia. Yumei also appears in Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth.

Yumei is from Yamato. She is a daughter of a mermaid and human.
Yumei has left Asgard and refuses to return and be a part of the Einherjar. Summer Freya and Summer Lenneth are determined to return her there, they even mange to catch her with the help of Summer Thaila and Summer Alice.
Yumei agrees to return only if she finds a lapis gem. Everyone agree to help her, but when Lucia joins them she sees that the supposed lapis gem they found is just a simple rock. Freya takes Yumei with her and promises to have a talk with her about lying.
